Podiatric Surgical Residency
Chestnut Hill Podiatric Surgical Residency Program is a comprehensive three-year program with additional RRA Certification. Accredited by Council of Podiatric Medical Education, our program grants two positions annually.
Our residents experience an intensive, well-rounded education, in a fully integrated teaching hospital setting. The program incorporates a wide range of medical and surgical sub-specialty rotations, providing real-world clinical experience.
The podiatric surgical residency program creates an individualized experience with easy access to our experienced academic faculty. Didactic learning is emphasized, including weekly lecture series, journal club, cadaver, lab, grand rounds, and research.
In addition, clinical training with a wide-ranging surgical caseload, office rotations, medicine and surgery rotations create an excellent learning opportunity. Our mission is to prepare residents as competent, compassionate practitioners in the field of Podiatry, prepared to successfully complete examination for board certification.
Part of Tower health, Chestnut Hill Hospital is a community teaching hospital located in the northwest section of Philadelphia. We have the opportunity to care for patients from all socioeconomic backgrounds including a large number of underserved patients in both the inpatient and office settings.
